Within AXA Health Solutions Actuarial Function, we ensure the technical commitments and results in accordance with various standards: Social, IFRS 17, and the Solvency II balance sheet. The Statutory Actuarial Team is responsible for providing elements on Social view P&L reporting and assumptions setting for IFRS 17 and SII. The team covers commitments related to Death, Disability and Health benefits of AXA Health Insurance and AXA Health Re. It consolidates various business groups for the executives and the investors to provide the extra piece of what happens once the reserve is calculated.

The department brings together multidisciplinary teams composed of actuaries, financial specialists, and insurance technicians.

Within the Actuarial Function, as an Actuarial Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the activities of the division:

Contribute to the preparation of income statements:

• Produce and document actuarial analyses to enhance liability understanding for various guarantees (death, health, and disability) with the reserving team
• Consolidate business lines results at each financial closing
• Review results for reasonableness and coordinate with business line managers to prepare for top management questions.
• Validate assumptions for IFRS 17 and SII and participate in backtesting analyses to relevant department
• Present results and technical assumptions in committees
• Contribute to the actuarial report

Participate in the overhaul of the inventory process

• Support timeline setting for financial closing to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Contribute to improving reporting processes, tools, and estimation methods (tool architecture, defining inputs and outputs, developing WPS programs)

All these responsibilities will give you the opportunity to interact regularly with various internal stakeholders (Business Teams, Management Control, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk Management), Group functions (Management Control / Actuarial Function), and external entities (ACPR, Statutory Auditors).

• You are a qualified actuary with 10 years or more actuarial working experience in life and health insurance
• You have a strong interest in numbers and data manipulation.
• You have a good understanding with IT tools such as SAS/WPS, Excel, and possibly VBA.
• You are fluent in French and English.
• You are organized, able to plan your work, meet deadlines, and adhere to schedules.
• You demonstrate rigor, can explain your work clearly, and provide the necessary elements for decision-making (internal or external).
• You enjoy working in a team, sharing ideas, innovating, and taking initiatives.
